Properties
It’s very unstable in the air, and easily oxidized. It will decompose at 500 ℃, it will also be oxidized by water, releasing hydrogen during a violent reaction with water. It can be dissolved in hydrochloric acid, ethanol and ether. Saved in excess of hydrogen chloride.
