Preparation

Make tungsten trioxide dissolved in a solution of alkali metal hydroxide or carbonate, that an alkali metal tungstates can be prepared. Make additional metal salt with an alkali metal tungstate to metathesis reaction, can obtain the corresponding metal salt of tungstic acid. If make tungsten oxide melt with metal oxide or carbonate or make metal chloride melt with tungstates can also obtain the corresponding tungstate.

In industrial tungstate products are common phosphotungstic acid, tungsten fluoride, as the high-quality varieties of coating materials in electronic information industry are widely used.

Tungstate important traditional products are: ammonium paratungstate, Tungstate, these two types of tungstate occupies a pivotal place in all categories of products tungstate.
